In New Zealand in March about 1500 academics, teachers and researchers signed a letter of support for the climate school strikers.
12 March 2019 scientists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland under the name Scientists4Future published a declaration on-line “Statement of scientists and scholars concerning the protests for more climate protection” which were signed by more than 12,000 private persons.
From the largest Swedish daily newspaper “Dagens Nyheter” 15 March 2019, in translation “We climate researchers support Greta and the school children” (270 climate scientists signing):

In the Swedish newspaper “Aftonbladet” (2nd largest in Sweden) on 15 March 2019 a letter supported the climate protests, “91 forskare: I dag bör vi alla klimatprotestera” (in translation “91 forskare: today we should all protest about the climate”) (signed by 91 scientists within Political Sciences).
In Finland a support letter for climate striking children and youth was signed by 1228 members of the scientific community: “Ilmastolakkoilevat lapset ja nuoret saavat tukemme” (in translation: “Climate striking children and young people will receive our support”).
Letter in the leading scientific journal “Science” 12 April 2019, “Concerns of young protesters are justified” (I haven’t had the time to count them, but the signing scientists takes up 51 pages!):

In the Swedish newspaper “Uppsala Nya Tidning” 434 employees of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), while demanding that Swedish universities reduce their own carbon foot prints, they also call on all university employees in Sweden to join the Climate strikes.
In the newspaper Dagens Nyheter, 171 scientists in humanities and state sciences, 25 Sep 2019: “Vi vuxna bör också klimatprotestera” (~”Us grown-ups should also protest against climate change”).
